My own story.

 

More than 8 years back I was this girl on the left when panic attacks, anxiety, and depression medications took a toll on my life. leaving me 18 kgs heavier. At the time I felt my life was slipping away from me, missing a lot of precious moments and memories with my kids and loved ones. Hiding behind my lack of self-confidence and self-image. Feeling desperate and vulnerable, This is when I had this wake-up call to take control of my life to get the best out of it and to start taking action and change my situation. Having a strong WHY behind why I want to lose the extra weight, the WHY; my kids, my husband, and my happiness is what drove me to take the first steps towards my transformation. I stayed focused on my goal,  why I want to do this so I don’t lose track of what, the weight loss ! I ditched all the medicines and focused on my physical and mental wellness during this journey.

 

It was a long journey that didn't happen overnight but implementing 2-3 small changes at a time felt so feasible, making it easier getting me closer and closer to my goal. I knew I didn’t want to feel deprived, I didn’t want to lose a few pounds then gaining it all back again, I didn’t want to be trapped in Yo Yo dieting. This is what got me to coaching. I started linking all the dots together working on my mental weight as well as my physical weight, understanding that to have sustainable results, I had to reframe my relationship with food, changing my habits , crowding in the good stuff and here I’m 18 kgs lighter . This is how I built my habit-based program, a 12 week transformation program which includes support, guidance, empowerment, check ins and coaching around nutrition and changing habits.   During our work together, we look at where you are now and where you want to go, together we put the plan on how to get there. Always remember you are the pilot on this trip and I’m your co-pilot, you are the one who will drive the journey and I will be there to guide you with the directions but trust me at the end of this journey you will be amazed with your ability to achieve your goals, you will discover that your success does not depend on your willpower  to resist temptations but how to work around those temptations to reach your goal .
